Public consciousness has a tendency toward amnesia. All too often, our collective memory inadvertently dilutes – or even forgets – atrocious events of the past. We cannot allow the cruel, discriminatory, and xenophobic actions of 45 to be swept under the rug of ‘history.’ The 45 Library must resist ‘normalizing’ his actions within our national narratives. Our contribution asks the question: How can the 45 Library jolt the American public out of their comfort zone, through the experience of a gilded and unsettling apparatus of terror?
